One Medium Suitcase

If I had to leave this place and never come back but was only able to pack one suitcase, these are the ten things I would take:

1.) I would bring a picture of me and my three best friends because they are some of the most important people to me. If I have to leave them forever, then I need something to remember them by.
2.) I would also bring my shoe box filled with keepsakes. There are pictures of me and my family along with notes, lyrics, and gifts.
3.) My ring that my grandma gave me because it is the most important gift she ever gave me. I wear it whenever I can and it reminds me of her.
4.) The drawing of Joe Brooks that Kim drew. He signed it for me when I got to meet him. It's one of my most prized possessions.
5.) The photo booth pictures I have from Chicago. My really good friends Brett and Mikaela are in it with me. That trip was one of the best memories I have and I would never want to forget it.
7.) My hoodie that I got in Florida two summers ago. It is the comfiest thing I have ever worn and always keeps me warm.
8.) The necklace my mom gave me when I was nine years old. I wore it almost everyday for two years. It has a lot of sentimental value.
9.) The teddy bear my mom gave me when I was a little kid. It use to be hers, but she gave it to me. I use to bring it with me everywhere I went.
10.) My favorite pair of sweats. They go perfectly with my sweatshirt and I love them.

Yellow Star

This is a list of my ten most rewarding and beautiful experiences:

1.) Getting my permit-I am on of the youngest people in my grade so once I was finally able to get one, it was a pretty big deal.
2.) Hanging out with friends at any point-We always have the best times and make amazing memories. I will never forget the things we do.
3.) National Honors Society-When I got into NHS I was so happy. I was so scared that I wouldn't get in but I did and I couldn't believe it.
4.) Being on A honor roll-I've never had a B on a grade report before. Keeping my grades up is really important to me.
5.) When my little brother was born-It was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. I love my little brother Trip so much even though he gets on my nerves sometimes.
6.) Graduating from middle school- Leaving middle school and going to high school was really scary. I was moving on to a whole other part of my life.
7.) UBMS- I was accepted into this program ahead of many other kids. To get in is an honor and it was a great choice to want to be in it.
8.) Getting my grandma's ring- She gave it to me even though she could have given it to a lot of other people. I wear it all the time and it reminds me of her.
9.) Traveling- I've never lived anywhere for more than two years (besides here). I got to experience so many different things as a young child.
10.) Getting my first dog-I got Zayn when I was 13. It seemed like it was going  to be easy, but it definitely wasn't. It helped me gain a lot of responsibility. I love him so much.

Synetics

1.) Which is like a contest? a cloud or a sunset?
A sunset because they're all competing to be the best. Each one is trying to be better than the other.

2.) Which is wiser? A pen or pencil?
A pencil is wiser because it can go back and fix itself. It can accept when it's wrong and try to make it better.

3.) Which is more difficult? A dream or a nightmare?
A dream because a nightmare consists only of fears, but dreams contain things we want and also things that scare us. A dream is what everyone holds on to for hope while people wish away nightmares.

4.) Which is like a legend? A mirror or glass?
A mirror because it holds all the reflections of those who have looked in it. A glass is transparent so you can see right through it.

5.) Which costs more? a home or a house?
A home because it takes time to build. It contains all of the things that make you you but a house can easily be replaced.

6.)  Which is happier? music or art?
Music because people can pass it on. It can fill people with joy and keep going forever.

7.) Which is more fearful? new or old?
New is more fearful because you are use to what is old. New is unexpected.

8.)Which has less charm? a signature or an autograph?
An autograph because it has no character. A signature has feeling in it.

9.) Which is more useful? a friend or an enemy?
A friend because they will do anything for you. They will help you when it's needed and be there no matter what.

10.) Which is easier to teach? a question or an answer?
A question because it can be plain and simple. Everyone can have a different opinion on how to answer it though.

Valuable Lessons

1.) No matter how much you love someone, it can't make them change. If they're going to change, then they're going to have to want to. It isn't going to happen over night, it takes time.
2.) Forgive those who wrong you and even more importantly, forgive yourself for your mistakes. Holding on to grudges will only hurt you in the end and being angry with yourself won't help with anything.
3.) Sometimes, listening to your heart is what best, and sometimes you should listen to your brain, the hard part is deciding which one to go with.
4.) Don't try to blend in with everyone else. Be independent and your own person. "Well behaved women rarely make history"
5.) Be nice to everyone, because karma can come back to bite you in the butt.
6.) How to read and write well. It will help me with scholarships in the future and will generally help me succeed in life.
7.) Never forget to laugh. The ability to laugh is one of the greatest gifts we are given so don't take it for granted.
8.) Family is who is there through everything. They will love you no matter what and will never give up on you.
9.) Don't over analyze things, because you will end up not having fun, but don't use this as an excuse to do reckless things either.
10.) Don't let people tell you that you can't do something. If you want it enough, it's yours.
